Forest Fire Danger Index Calculator

This handy little app will calculate the Fire Danger Index (FDI), and also give indications as to fire behaviour, based on the McArthur Fire Danger Meter Mk5.

Using basic weather data you can quickly calculate the FDI, and with additional information such as fuel load and slope of ground the app will provide you with estimates as to flame height, rate of spread, and spotting distance.
